Built in 1887 in the neo-Gothic style and extensively restored in 1993, this small building is located in the middle of the forest. From up there you have a beautiful view of the spa buildings and the Brunnental valley. No wonder, as it is 84 meters deep down to sea level. This building is actually called the Brunnenkapelle and once had a cross that was meant to honor King Friedrich Wilhelm III, who died in 1840.

Surrounded by the forest with a view of the valley and the Moorklinik.
Was perfect for us as a lunch on the bench next to it 👩🍳

Must have done it once. But one thing is certain: I will not climb the 225 steps again!
