That was our conclusion to our Spreewald weekend. Köthen is located on the edge of the biosphere reserve. And here you can also get together with the 66-Seen-Rundweg and the Paul-Gerhardt-Weg. I have tried to lay as road-free route as possible, only 80% succeeded. The area is so swampy that there is really no way where no one was drawn. But that's how we found the big jumping / off-road track. Nice area, probably because you could still optimize the roads.

Short evening hike on the nature trail Buchenahin, near Schlepzig. We drove to the parking lot by car. Great way. Only over a dam, there you can also observe beavers with luck. We saw two beaver right away. Mostly natural trails, had more of an appearance as in the forests around Wandlitz and in the Schorfheide. This is something you often wish for.

Schlepzig - a small, but not so sleepy place in the Spreewald. Many small details can be found in the village. The painted church ceiling, the historic mill, the willow dome, the distillery, the café on the Spree. We also took the carp harvest today. Many people, Spreewalds as well as tourists, have made a pilgrimage to the fishing spot at the Instelteich and have indulged in carp, or beer, or probably even both. For us rather awful, but that's a matter of opinion. The roads on the whole tour are farm roads, on the way back one is then at least a longer piece in the forest. The small path to the inn Petkampsberg is very sweet. There are still things to buy, which we knew from earlier, dolls, small hiking stick'Bleche ', Fingerhütte.

Nice round around and through Lübben. We did not plan that ourselves and then spontaneously went some other ways. The water playground is awesome, there are even rafts there. Lubben himself, well, there are nicer cities. But there is a lot of effort and the combination of water and city has its appeal in some places. There are also very few tourists in the city at the beginning of November.

From the last large East Berlin development area to the last large Berlin area. In between wide open areas. But even here is already planning for a development. Berlin is growing and I'm not sure if the loss of natural area is good or bad.

Start / Meeting point: 23.11.2019, 9:30 am at the station Blankenfelde, reachable with RE5, RE7 and the S-Bahn line S2
Return: from Dabendorf with RE5 or RE7 every hour to Berlin
Passengers arriving by car: leave their car at Blankenfelde station and pick them up again on the return journey (3 stops)
---------------... so now the invitation for my group tour in November, this time again south of Berlin. I had already recommended this route in the summer in an interview with the Berlin courier, after I had once again hiked with Romy and Cornell in June. Manfred Reschke had accidentally made me aware of the track yesterday and so I chose her for the komoot group hike in November. It goes in three very different sections on the trail 'Baruther line' on the wonderful Glasowbach along the shore of Rangsdorfer lake, at the end then on Plattenwegen mostly along water channels along the wide swampy landscape to Glienicke TV tower and then to the finish in Dabendorf.Manfred Reschke will be there and again in his inimitable way some historical facts about Rangsdorf, the 'Lido of the South of Berlin', as well as personal anecdotes for hiking in the area for the best. You can find impressions of the tour from June here: on this tour there will be a longer and several shorter breaks. A stop on the way I have not planned, so please think of your own backpacking food.Hikings are done in EVERY weather (except in really extreme weather), you walk on your own responsibility and bear the risks yourself. You should have hiked it already routes of this length, the route is not particularly demanding, but could be flooded in the swamp meadows after heavy rainfall. In this case (even experienced) I improvise the end of the tour ...As always, I send you selected personal invitations about komoot to you, but will certainly overlook again some potentially interested people or forget what I apologize for now. Of course, all non-personally invited users are equally welcome and I look forward to a joint tour with you. For further questions email me to or write in the comments.

Yesterday even with Marflow talked about village shops, today just gone in one. Otherwise we always drive there. A very nice conservation station with a cozy café and farm shop. Vegans did not have that much, maybe they will. Also great for children, especially when the storks raise their young. I'll take a route through Malchow and take a look at the 'village' from behind.

The tour of toadstools. The forest was full of mushrooms anyway, but the toadstools today have everything tuned :-) Very nice Wegführung, great discussions, best weather. You could even have gone for a swim.
Thank you Frank, for the organization.
