The Prinz-Carl-Palais is an early classical palace in Munich.
    Translated by
The Prinz-Carl-Palais was built by Karl von Fischer from 1804 to 1805 as Palais Salabert for the then Minister Pierre de Salabert. In 1924 it became the official residence of the Bavarian Prime Minister. The palace survived the Second World War almost undamaged. In 1948 it became the seat of the newly founded Bavarian Academy of Fine Arts. Since 1968 it has been used for representation again, now again for the Bavarian Prime Minister.
