The Friedenskirche in Grottau was built in the years 1900 - 1901 by the German Luther Church in Grottau, The Friedenskirche was designed by the important architect Johannes Vollmer. After the Germans were expelled from the Bohemian border area, the Church took over the state and assigned it to the Czechoslovak Hussite Church. Since 1989 the church has been used regularly for ecumenical purposes.
