The Friedenskirche in Grottau was built in the years 1900 - 1901 by the German Luther Church in Grottau, The Friedenskirche was designed by the important architect Johannes Vollmer. After the Germans were expelled from the Bohemian border area, the Church took over the state and assigned it to the Czechoslovak Hussite Church. Since 1989 the church has been used regularly for ecumenical purposes.

The Evangelical Peace Church, which was built in the neo-Gothic style with elements of the Saxon Renaissance according to plans by the Berlin architect Johannes Vollmer. The foundation stone was laid on June 17, 1900. The inauguration took place on December 1, 1901. The single-nave building with a rectangular presbytery and an asymmetrical tower has a column-like entrance portal and stained glass windows depicting the four evangelists and Martin Luther. The altar bar is decorated with a relief by the sculptor František Bílek.
