You can stroll through the streets, relax with a cup of coffee or go on a boat trip in good weather - the beautiful atmosphere will appeal to you right away. Of course, Esslingen's Old Town is always worth a visit, even outside of the Christmas period.
The pretty old town hall, the cathedral St. Paul and the town church St. Dionys with its two distinctive towers.
The best known are undoubtedly the medieval half-timbered streets and streets. Esslingen is home to some of the oldest surviving half-timbered houses in Germany dating back to the 13th century. Here you can experience medieval housing once in a larger context, a unique atmosphere.
If you want to look at the whole thing from the top, then it is only a few minutes to the castle.
