A viewing point where the geological history of the Urseetal is explained.
December 2, 2016
When I visited in November 2021, there was mostly a clear view along the Urseemoor, with the exception of two small pieces of forest - although you could see that reforestation was taking place.
Today's 'Rest-Ursee' was once much larger. Investigations showed that the glacial lake used to reach up to the current buildings and was two kilometers long.

Here too, the upper hiking trails, which probably offered a view of the Urseetal valley 30 years ago, are almost completely overgrown. If you look closely, in the valley also fallen trees have been felled, because everything grows here. Of "beautiful" or "great view", it is unfortunately far away. There is only one place, to which the Black Forest club with bank and info point dodged and from which one looks down into the valley.
