The Schluchsee is a reservoir in the municipality of Schluchsee near St. Blasien in the district of Breisgau-Hochschwarzwald in Baden-Württemberg. It lies southeast of Lake Titisee and is the largest lake in the Black Forest.
Since the 1960s, the lake has also served as a tributary for the Schluchseewerk pumped storage power plant. In addition to a natural inflow, the lake is filled with water from the Rhine via various power plant stages

Hiking

Ideal for easy, flat tours. Plenty of seating is available. No special shoes or equipment is required. But please don't leave trash lying around. Unfortunately, this has become a real problem everywhere. It's sad. Thanks for helping to keep it clean :)
