The Schluchsee is a reservoir in the municipality of Schluchsee near St. Blasien in the district of Breisgau-Hochschwarzwald in Baden-Württemberg. It lies southeast of Lake Titisee and is the largest lake in the Black Forest.
Since the 1960s, the lake has also served as a tributary for the Schluchseewerk pumped storage power plant. In addition to a natural inflow, the lake is filled with water from the Rhine via various power plant stages
