Hochfirst Tower and Berggasthaus Hochfirst

The view from the 1197 m high Hochfirst is great. Below the Titisee, in the background the Feldbermassiv. The lookout tower is open when the restaurant is open. Tuesday is day off - I was there on which day - of course!

At the top of the Hochfirst, in addition to the cozy rest house, you will also find a transmission tower with a small viewing platform. In summer, the tower can be climbed daily between 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. In winter, however, you can only go up the tower on Sundays and only when the weather is good. From the platform you have a wonderful view of Lake Titisee and the surrounding mountains.

The Hochfirst Rasthaus is open daily from 11 a.m., only Tuesdays are closed.
