If you have the (as we have counted) about 960 steps up, you will be rewarded with several beautiful views - depending on where you go on, they are always beautiful and are also good for a relaxing break overlooking the valley.

In the descent particularly recommendable because of the terrific views. As you look at the steep descent permanently into the depths. In my opinion, the most beautiful descent from Schrammsteinweg to Schmilka.

Short and crisp, but thanks to well-developed steps and metal stairs to get relatively comfortable height.

According to a mountain guide, whom I have overheard with his tour group, it should be about 800 steps.

For inexperienced hikers, the many stages are certainly a challenge. But it's worth it: Right up there, there is an incredibly beautiful view. In addition, other highlights such as the Carolafelsen now not far away.

In wet weather, this piece can be really dangerous. The damp metal stairs are really soggy. But otherwise an ingenious construction between the rocks, down real concentration required, high just massive Condition: D

A great ascent, demanding for the normal but well done. Only we had a dog with us and it was rather inappropriate. We had to carry the dog partially up the steep stairs, because it was no longer alone. Downhill it is almost impossible with a dog.
