Heringsloch Gorge

The Heringsloch is a rather unspoiled path through lonely and wildly romantic gorges. The moss-grown sandstones and branched roots in the context of the forest could almost serve as a filming location for "The Lord of the Rings" and appear in the mist in an almost romantic mystique.The way leads and is above all stones and steps carved into the sandstone Moisture through the rough sandstone very sure-footed.

Fantastic descent path from the Roßsteig (Affensteinkammweg) down to the Zeughaustrasse or directly to the Hinteres Raubschloss (on the Winterstein).
