Very beautiful castle stables on a rock with a view of Lützelsdorf, Hagenbach and the valley.

The structure is explained on an information board for me unsatisfactory. If you look at a relief picture, you can see that the system, which was not classically located on a rock spur, was protected by a neck trench carved out of the rock on three sides by about 25 x 25 meters. Other weak upstream structures could be interpreted as remnants of walls / moats / walls and assigned to a forecourt. I hang in for interested a picture.

Little to nothing is known about the historical background. See also

The castle that stood here is probably one of the older castles in the area. Fragments have been found dating back to the 11th century. It is not known whether the castle was destroyed or fell into disrepair.

A few stone steps lead up to a wonderful viewpoint into the Trubachtal with a view of the Walberla. At the back of the viewpoint there is a small rock arch and the beginnings of a small cave.

An old castle ruin in which a few foundations are recognizable. A bench and a viewpoint invite you to linger.
