The castle complex on the Schlossberg hill near Schönlind is probably the oldest in the Fichtel Mountains. It was built around 1100 or 1200 and sits at an altitude of 605 meters. It was surrounded by two ring walls. It was destroyed between 1870 and 1875. There's even a summit register! 😆
