Beautiful half-timbered houses and benches for a break. An ice cream parlor and two restaurants.
However, the birthplace of Johannes Schoch deserves special mention. A great builder. The house was completely renovated during the First World War.

With its fine half-timbered structure, the town hall is a gem that has remained intact for over three centuries to our time. Due to the Franconian timber construction, its origin is dated to 1622.

Very nice place. The half-timbered town hall is particularly noteworthy: with its graceful half-timbered construction, it is a gem that has wonderfully remained intact for three centuries to our time. The Franconian timber construction dates the building to 1622. If the house could tell ... then it would tell us about some interesting events. Something about the fact that every year on the Sunday after Easter all the women of the community gathered for the so-called "Weiberzeche", where they were served a good sip of wine by the community. It was certainly quite funny ... Source: koenigsbach-stein.de/sehenswertes-koenigsbach/fachwerk-rathaus-id_48 Will the community still uphold the tradition?
