The beautiful Ranntal is a local recreation area and FFH nature reserve that stretches from the Pfinztal in Remchingen-Nöttingen (Ranntalstrasse/Beuthenerstrasse) to the "back Ranntal" in Dietlingen.
Along the Rannbach there is a renewed biotope, ponds, a fish pond. The connecting paths (hiking and cycling paths) e.g. to Pforzheim and to the Keltern-Ellmendingen/+Dietlingen vineyards are very well signposted.
