At an altitude of 1793m, the Lechweg begins near the Formarinsee. We are hiking along one of Europe's last wild river landscapes this week. At the beginning still with very little water, but small streams feed the Lech and from murmuring it turned into a rushing stream.

Lechweg Day 1
After arriving at our guesthouse Alpenrose, we had a Palatinate snack on the terrace, donated by PWV Roschbach.
Afterwards, a short tour of the village of Lech. Shopping in the many sports shops and buying supplies for the first stage of the Lechweg.
