Gilboa Temple Viewpoint on Hünerberg

Not a very old hut, closed on three sides. Good for a rest in rainy weather.

The "Gilboa Temple" on the Hünerberg in the middle of the forest is intended to be a "visible sign of the partnership" between the Hochtaunus and the Israeli district of Gilboa. There, 2950 kilometers away, as a compass rose shows, lies the Israeli district of Gilboa on the border with the West Bank. Up here, on the Hünerberg near Kronberg, Israelis, Germans and Arabs looked towards Israel yesterday and toasted 20 years of friendship with Kronberger apple sparkling wine.
