Tips
The ice pond is said to have been created in connection with the mining experiments. When there were no refrigerators, ice was extracted here for cooling purposes in winter. Blocks were sawed out and carted to the ice cellars of the nearby properties. Today it is an interesting biotope where numerous species of frogs and amphibians feel at home.
