Road Cycling Highlight (Segment)

I like the cycle path on the left of the Elbe more than the one on the right because there is a little less going on here. However, racing cyclists should be a little careful, as the path is also often used by people (and animals) who move much more slowly. From Dresden, the path is initially squeezed between the railway embankment and the railing to the Elbe and, from the motorway bridge, winds beautifully over the Elbe meadows. The pavement at the Gohliser windmill is intended to slow things down a little, as this is a popular place to stop. Soon after, Gohlis is reached.
