Much less beautiful church than the other historic ones in Colmar.
The particularity is given by the fact that, due to the exceptional sound qualities, an international music festival is hosted every year in this church.
It consists of a fairly long nave and a beautiful large choir, both well lit by large windows.
It is located on Grand Rue.

Church was originally founded by the Franciscans.
        Historical indication:
The Franciscans, who had arrived in Colmar before 1250, began construction in 1292 on a building that was not finished until the first half of the 14th century. Together with the Dominican Church, this monument is one of the most important achievements of the mendicants in Alsace. After several restorations from 1982 to 1997, the church has been restored. For example, the ceilings, which were lowered in 1862 to save money on heating, were raised again. Concerts of the international music festival of Colmar take place every year thanks to the church's unique acoustics. In 1543, the Franciscan monastery was finally closed and the city of Colmar bought the buildings to set up the hospital. In 1575, the church was used by the Lutheran community of Colmar. In 1715 a wall was built to separate the Protestant chapel in the chancel on the other side. After the construction of the new Pasteur hospital in 1937, the church was completely reserved for Protestant worship and in 1987 the wall was destroyed.
