One of the most spectacular rocks I know. Not very big but admittedly I was at a loss for words when I saw it for the first time and because it is so hidden and not easy to find there is also something mystical about it. If you hike along a beaten path over the ridge of the Winterberg, between smaller boulders, you simply no longer believe that something extraordinary is coming. The forest landscape is unspectacular, wonderfully quiet. Little frequented and the paths are not marked or provided with signs and you are tempted to turn around again. No. You have to search and find it yourself.

But then. Pass the first higher rock (approx. 5-6 m high) that stands in your way on the ridge and you are in front of it. Everyone should enjoy this place in their own way.
