The magnolia grove in Schöntal is the largest magnolia grove in Bavaria and one of the largest in Germany. The area of today's grove was laid out in connection with an orangery built between 1784 and 1787 (today used as a restaurant and cabaret theater) for a botanical plant collection and in 1810 consisted of four tree-lined squares around a central roundabout. 😀
