Eidfjord is a village on the fjord. It's home to a wealth of nature.
A short climb to a viewpoint offered plenty of beautiful views of the fjord, the village, and the surrounding mountains.

Another trip to Flam. This time by minibus to Norway's smallest stave church in Undredal.
Built in 1147, it is still used for services and weddings today. We had a lovely private tour and can highly recommend it.
Afterward, we warmed up with tea and hot chocolate in the restaurant.
Undredal had no roads…

We arrived in Flam and disembarked under cloudy skies. Brekkefossen, the "small" waterfall, was visible from afar.
We made our way past Highland cattle and then climbed 600 granite steps.
We struggled to the top and were rewarded with a magnificent view of the waterfall and the fjord.
After a breather…

Today we booked a city tour with a visit to the Viking Museum.
The tour was very interesting, and our Dutch guide was very knowledgeable and knowledgeable.
First, we strolled around the Malakoff fairground, a former military training area, now a rock festival site and the venue for the national holiday…

High above Molde, at just over 400 meters, is the Varden peak. It's a total of 9 kilometers on foot... we opted for a taxi.
The driver was really nice and entertained us well.
The view is definitely worth it... anyone who comes here shouldn't miss the view of the islands and mountains.

A tour of Molde, our next stop. A small town on the fjord with a very beautiful hotel shaped like a sail.
And lots of roses. Hence the name "City of Roses."
We walked through two beautiful small parks and past the Catholic church to the cathedral. It was closed for a wedding and couldn't be visited.
We…

The next stop is Trondheim. An ancient city and Norway's third largest.
We visited the Abbey Garden, Nidaros Cathedral, and the museums in the Archbishop's Palace. The coronation regalia were impressive.
Afterwards, we walked to the Bridge of Happiness. There are very beautiful, colorful old houses built…

Today the weather was beautiful again, so we strolled through Alesund, a very beautiful city.
Rebuilt in the Art Nouveau style after it burned down, it also has a beautiful museum about it.
We also visited the church, the harbor lighthouse, and the school. A little highlight on the side: The little red…

While you're here, you should explore the fjord by speedboat.
Our guide showed us the Seven Sisters, the groom (who couldn't make it), and other highlights.
The calm weather kept everyone dry.
It was a high-speed highlight.

On the Troll Railway through Eidfjord.
With some beautiful views over the plateau and past farms and Viking burial mounds.
The second part showed the new and old churches and the village center.
A good idea for getting an overview of Eidfjord.
