Thailand 2026 😎☀️🏝️



After a wonderfully relaxing day at the beach, enjoying some time to unwind, swim, and read a good book, we headed to our friends Jana and Roger's place in Kai Bae, another equally beautiful stretch of beach on Koh Chang.

For over a week now, we've been enjoying our island bliss on

"Koh Chang."



The island is wonderfully unspoiled, not yet overrun with tourists, perhaps because you can't fly to it or reach it directly by car. The ferry crossing is always a little adventure in itself.

On today's hike, we didn't just walk around the Rückersbach Gorge, we conquered it properly! 💪🌞

In perfect weather, we embarked on a challenging loop hike, up and down, stopping to admire the views. It was so beautiful...



Our fitness was excellent

The sunny weather today inspired us to hike to the Dietesheim quarries.



It's always a highlight, no matter the season.



This unique lake landscape, the steep cliffs, the famous canyon bridge, and the wonderful circular trails never fail to fascinate me.



A popular destination, especially on weekends and in summer.

The "Great Frankfurt City Bell Ringing" has a long tradition in Frankfurt.

Our trip to Las Palmas, the island's impressive capital, was truly wonderful.



Even upon arrival, we noticed how lively the city was that day. No wonder, with two huge cruise ships docked in the harbor, a Christmas market, and a Saturday, when many Spanish families are out and about

After breakfast, I set off... but this time I went left, along the beautifully developed beach promenade towards San Agustín.



Others had the same idea; the promenade was bustling with activity; joggers, runners, and strollers were all enjoying the pleasant weather.

We took a lovely day trip by car to Las Palmas. Our first stop was the old town, where we visited the impressive Santa Ana Cathedral. The atmosphere in and around the cathedral was truly captivating, and we took our time to soak in the architecture and the peaceful ambiance.
