Art Trail on the Reichenbach

These three kilometers along the Reichenbach are a kind of open-air museum and exhibition space for local artists. You can currently see around 40 sculptures and installations here. The path is supervised by a local association.

Some of the art objects are so hidden that you hardly notice them.

The artificial path along the Reichenbach between the Gernsbach districts of Hilpertsau and Reichental leads through a beautiful side valley of the Murg. The stream, the forest, the rocks, the hay huts form a picturesque backdrop for over 40 sculptures and installations. Every two years, as part of an exhibition opening, works of art are dismantled and new ones are added to the path. Some of the works are overlaid by nature. There are guided tours every first Sunday of the month at 11:30 am. The meeting point is the information board at the beginning of the art trail after the commercial area in Hilpertsau.
