At the Giersteine natural monument there is a viewing pavilion with a playground and opposite the insect hotel there is a beautifully landscaped flower garden with a dahlia path. All accompanied by funny sayings.

Exceptional place with abundant floral decoration in spring and summer along the way.

The Giersteine are in a particularly exposed position on a hilltop near Bermersbach and are often visited as one of the most beautiful vantage points in the "Im Tal der Murg" holiday region. The Giersteine are a group of granite blocks of different sizes, located 160 meters steeply above the Murg. Two blocks stand out due to their size, indentations and grooves. The larger block measures over 13 meters in circumference. The indentations and grooves are the result of various weathering processes.
Structures like the Greed Stones have given rise to speculation for centuries. To date, however, all sacrificial stone theories have failed to provide any serious evidence. Only the popular names for the various indentations and grooves are reminiscent of pagan customs: "blood channels", "sacrificial cauldron", "devil's stone", "witch's stone", "druid's seat" etc. In April 1880, the greed stones were placed in the " Rastatt newspaper". At that time, the stones were popularly known as Kir or Kürsteine. The hilltop between the Giersteinen and Forbach still has the name "Kirren". In 1936 the Giersteine were placed under monument protection.
