Update 02 July 2022: Finally the bridge is open! The Polish part of the bridge had already been completed last year, on the German side there were delays, among other things, because of a strictly protected pair of eagle owls nesting there. You'll probably never know if that was the only reason 😊. According to a report on Antenne Brandenburg from June 25, 2022, the total costs for the renovation were around 8.5 million euros. According to the construction sign, the budget was 3.6 million euros, with a completion date of 2021. That is more than double and actually as always with orders from the "public sector".
