Railway bridge to cross the Oder, built in 1890 and demolished in 1945 by German troops. 1955 was the reconstruction of the bridge to use this for military purposes. Since mid-2014, the bridge was again temporary, d. H. open on weekends. Between Poland and Germany commuted a Handhebeldraisine as a bridge taxi, which could take bicycles from one side to the other. Since 2015, the Draisinenverbindung is interrupted due to nature conservation concerns.

As far as I know, this bridge is from 2021 passable for pedestrians and cyclists. When exactly, remains to be seen! Until then you should leave it quietly at the railway bridge before you rename the bridge "klangvoll" in Europabrücke.
If the project actually realized, it would be a great gain for the cyclists, if you could then go on the Polish side on the bike path "Green Oder" to Moryn (formerly Mohrin). So far this is only possible by detours via Hohenwutzen or the ferry at Güstebieser Loose.

At this point, the Berlin-Barnim-Oderbruch cycle path (opened in 2007) crosses the Oder-Neisse cycle path. The train from Wriezen to Mohrin in Neumark (now Poland) used to travel over this railway bridge.
