Trains used to run here from Wriezen to Mohrin (now Moryn). After it was destroyed in the war, it was later rebuilt immediately next to it for the purpose of exclusively military use. Closure and track dismantling in the 1990s. Currently well-developed bike paths on both the German and Polish sides. The bridge is planned to open for cyclists and pedestrians in 2021.
