The beginning of the Western Lakeland Route No. R20. The former railway bridge in Siekierki is the longest crossing of this type on the Oder. Now it is a pedestrian and bicycle bridge, and on June 25, 2022, its German part was opened.
The Polish side of the bridge has been in operation since 2021. On the Polish side of the bridge, there are a number of educational boards related to the history of the bridge and its reconstruction. At the boards, a place to rest.
The opening of the entire crossing is a long-awaited moment for the inhabitants of the region and tourists. The crossing allows you to plan attractive trips, especially cycling. On the Polish side, the R20 West Lake District Trail has its beginning.

A truly remarkable example of a bridge adapted to the needs of pedestrians and cyclists! Along its 800-meter length, there are numerous resting and nature-observing areas. A tower is located on the Polish side! A truly unique attraction – a must-see!
