From the visitor center Mörsdorf it goes directly to the suspension bridge Geierlay, the absolute highlight of the dream loop.
On the Sosberger side, the path leads under the bridge with some dangling down into the valley. Here the Geierlayschleife meets the Saar-Hunsrück-Steig and finally leads over a Saar-Hunsrück-Steig-Zuweg back to Mörsdorf.
