Sehr schöne Herbstwanderung über den Schlangenberg mit netten Leuten. Diese Wanderung sind wir in 2023 schon mal gegangen, Soraya wollte unbedingt diese Tour im Herbst noch mal machen. Gestartet sind wir vom Parkplatz am Restaurant Birkenhof in Vennwegen. Wir gehen direkt in den bunten Wald hinein, gehen an den Vichtbach entlang. Die Sonnen begleitet uns den ganzen Tag. Wir gehen immer noch durch den Wald,jetzt an Zweifall vorbei. Hier hätten wir nach etwa 5,3 km links abbiegen sollen und weiter gehen. Wir sind aber gerade aus gewandert. Den Streckenabschnitt war beschwerlich,fast zugewachsen und dornig. Wir Gnadenlosen haben den Abschnitt geschafft. Nun führt uns unserer Tour über den Schlangenberg. Wir wandern über breite Wegen und schöne Pfaden. Wir gehen auf einen Hügel wo ein Denkmal für Allen Gefallenen aus beiden Weltkriegen steht. Nun gehen wir wieder runter im Tal,dort kann man noch ehemalige Abbaustellen für Galmei sehen. Im ganzen Gebiet findet man im Sommer Galmeiveilchen und andere schönen Pflanzen. Es sind viele Wanderer unterwegs. Wir kommen an der Ritahütte und Martinshütte vorbei. Hier kann man seine Pausen machen. Nun sind wir fast wieder zurück. Nach unserer Tour kehren wir im Restaurant Birkenhof ein wo wir den Tag ausklingen lassen. Danke an allen Teilnehmern für einen gelungenen Wandertag. Bis zum nächsten Abenteuer.
