This hike is better not to copy. After crossing the bridge of Neufmoulin, I realized I had forgotten the dog's leash 1.5 km earlier. 🙈 So I turned back and continued the route with a plan made up on the spot. The area is otherwise certainly worth the effort with Les Rochelles, Le Poudingue and the numerous

Walk through the woods around the abbey of Villers-la-Ville. You don't see much of the abbey itself during this walk, for that I recommend a visit to the site itself. What I did encounter was a lot of forest interwoven with side streams of the Thyle. The path along the Ry d'Hez is also quite memorable

Along the flanks of the Meuse, in the beautiful green valley of Sainte-Julienne. Still surprisingly quiet for a weekend day. Also a nice place for the little ones thanks to the playground and the ponds with ducks. And all this while there is a cozy cafeteria with a terrace for the older ones.

Greatly enjoyed this hike. Virtually untouched nature crossed by mainly narrow paths. You start from a small parking lot at the Pont du Centenaire and then follow the Hoegne upstream. We also follow a section of the Poleur, to begin the return journey with a hill path strewn with roots. The return path

Short, shady walk through both the Belgian and Dutch parts of South Limburg. Fortunately, there are quite a few paths exclusively for hikers, as there is a lot of cycling and mountain biking in this region. Nevertheless, it is a very beautiful route with nice, undulating forest paths and beautiful views.

Despite a busy private period, I finally took the time again for an active and more adventurous hike. It was wonderfully quiet and beautifully green in the Land of Herve! The route leads over pleasant, sometimes challenging paths through the magnificent valleys of the Ruisseau d'Asse and the Berwinne

Cooling off by the Rur, with a small terrace halfway in Monschau.

Refreshment along the Ninglinspo, and this time unintentionally also in it... A little slip landed me a few meters lower in the Venusbad. Fortunately without any injuries, but a good warning: the paths in this wild nature can be treacherously slippery, so stay alert. At 33°C, this involuntary dip was

Wonderful walk through a rolling landscape. Formerly an industrial zone, today a place where nature is flourishing again.

A beautiful hike near Dinant. Looking for an adventurous hike along a stream, I came across a recommendation about the Hermeton. It was described as something Trôs-Marets-like on the Belgian-French border. That sounded interesting enough to experience for myself. The comparison, after having visited
