This was a great hike from Camping de Lizoard. Ascent was along a riverbed with lots of Avalanche scars, interesting rock formations and several caves along the way. Route up to the top is very clear and easy to follow with great views. The top gives you 360 views of all the surrounding passes and mountains. Also a nice sheltered area to seat down and have lunch. However, the descent we is not marked at all and quite steep with soft movable ground mud and loose stone. It would be quite easy to get lost and find yourself having to back track a long way to the top to retrace your steps down. Otherwise this was an enjoyable hike
