Vom netten 'Oureweller'-Örtchen Reichelsheim ging es zur Burg Reichenberg, das ein kirchliches Begegnungszentrum ist und dann weiter zur Ruine Rodenstein, des alten Rodensteiner Adelsgeschlechts. Ein großer Teil der Runde verlief auf dem Alemannenweg.

Die 517m hohe Germannshöhe bildete den höchsten Punkt an diesem mit 30 Grad recht warmen Hochsommertag.
