The forest paths are often a bit boring, having been graveled for forestry purposes. But that doesn't detract from the sometimes bizarre beauty of the forests with their interesting rock formations, springs, and waterfalls, and the food at the Weihermühle definitely makes up for the "stony" soles of your feet. 😋😎

A perfect day
Vintage cars on Totenkopfstrasse, spritzer and tarte flambée before 12 at the Totenkopfhütte, cheese sandwiches after 12. Then on to the Hellerhütte where, of course, there was coffee and cake. Back to the Hahnenschritt parking lot and on to the highlight of the day!
