7:45 AM - 3:00 PM Climb to the Knorrhütte "intermediate camp." Completely booked – hikers who haven't made reservations for today won't get a spot in the dormitory and will be sent on. Tomorrow, just under 5 km / 900 meters of elevation gain. I thought I'd be faster.
Luckily, you're doing the climb twice. Nice photos! How come today's stage is as long as your planned entire tour?
@H.W. From the hotel, a short detour to the Partnach spring. A long walk with other hikers, so I went a bit slower. But I'm glad I planned it that way; hiking through the valley is more stressful, and the last cable car is at 5:45 PM...
I still don't understand. My planned total trip was 22.1 km. Today I ran 21.1 km??!
Class Klaus
@H.W. If I see it correctly, the first section through the village wasn't included in the planning.
@Klaus I wouldn't have thought the trail would be so long. In the 80s, I once hiked from the stadium to the Reintalanger Hut and returned the same day. Back then, just after the Bock Hut, there was the…

Nature in a constant process.
Wikipedia says:
According to dendrochronological studies, the Blaue Gumpe was formed by a landslide approximately 600 to 700 years ago, i.e., in the 14th century. The Blaue Gumpe and the rock masses damming it are marked on the visual map of the Reintal Valley from…
@Klaus It's getting more and more problematic in the mountain huts 😕 news.at/ausflugsziele/run-auf-die-berge-wenn-es-in-den-hutten-eng-wird
@Klaus Wow, I'm already looking forward to your photos and impressions from day 2.
I wish you continued success!

Too many inexperienced young hikers who, at 5:00 PM, in the middle of the mountain, don't know where to go and are far from finding a solution. You can't accommodate them all in the hallway.
@Martina
It was a dream.
