A rustic hut of the Alpine Club in the middle of the boulder field in front of the Zugspitze. Here you have a beautiful view of the green Reintal, but also on the rocky peaks of the surrounding mountains. Kindly you can also fill up here his water supplies 😊

If you want to rest here a little longer, you can stay in the small restaurant to eat or stay in the hut. A short break, whether short or long, should be planned in any case 😉

At 2 day tour to Zugspitze best stay here - then you can comfortably master the climb to Zugspitze the next morning and is not too late back into the valley by train.

Perfect for a stop. Especially on the Sonnalpin there is a lot overcrowded because of the many non-hikers. A good hut meal and / or drink is double special.

On nice weekends, however, it gets quite crowded here. This is where the hiking groups come across the Reintal and the Gatterl.

The Knorrhütte was also extensively renovated in 2020.
