The name of the bridge goes back to a legend that is mainly known to the long-time residents. Thereafter, children were threatened that the bridge would collapse if they lied before walking over it.

We ran today because the route was right and we thought it was new for us. Not true, because we had already been to Einfelder See by bike once.
The monastery church is currently being massively decorated with crocuses.

A lovely little walk around the lake—great for stretching your legs after a long car ride. Be careful, this is the parking lot for the forest kindergarten, so it's best used on weekends. On weekdays, you should be careful not to take up space for parents to drop off their children.

The walk around Lake Bordesholm always provides new visual pleasures. My endorphin levels were increased.
The climb to the monastery church was also worth it.
The ancient linden tree is starting a new life.

From July 6th to October 3rd, 2024, there are 40 sculptures and installations around Lake Bordesholm to look at, smile at and maybe even admire.

In view of a torn muscle fiber, my current motto is "be careful when doing activities." So I came up with the idea of a stop & go tour …

Today we went to the Bordesholmer See. I wasn't there for about 40 years 😁 The path around the lake leads mostly along beautiful sandy paths along the lake. Only at the beginning from the parking lot and at the end after the monastery we had to walk a little road. We'll go there again in the summer...

Now it was with my friend "Rund um 🔘" the Bordesholmer See 🚶‍♀️🚶‍♀️.
It's obvious, because she lives right by the lake 🥰
After the storms & the flood, it is now possible to circumnavigate the lake again with dry feet & in spring-like weather ☀️ & temperatures. 😊
During the week it is relatively deserted on …

Oh, if only the weather today had been as nice as yesterday - but it wasn't supposed to be!
So get into the waterproof jackets and let's go...
The Bordesholmer See is a worthwhile destination for such bad weather tours. If you stay on the trails and don't worry about getting your feet wet, you don't run the risk of …
