I stole the idea from @Kat today and I actually felt better with Achilles than trudging through the sand on the beach. We haven't been there for a long time and the tour was perfect for today's weather ☁️🌧️😶‍🌫️ It's somehow always nice there and there wasn't much going on today. On the side: the lake is pretty full.

We were in the north for a few days and unfortunately could only treat ourselves to a short tour around the Einfeld lake.
It was wonderful weather and the round was great fun after the long abstinence from hiking due to Corona.

What do many "Komootler" say :
"Einfelder See is always possible 😉"
I can only agree, especially when it's in the "home zone" 😁
Easy to reach, no demanding track terrain (almost only gravel), even after a few days 💦🌧️ easy to walk & then embedded in nature. Home for all kinds of waterfowl such as gray and great egrets, …

With friends in the most beautiful northern German hiking weather (☔❄🌬), circumnavigating the Einfeld lake. Actually, it was still planned to hike along the nearby canned bog. However, the greed for a delicious hot drink was greater.

The band of Venus (anti-twilight arc, images 4 to 7), which opened up in the sky in the meantime, also helped. …

Today again a "classic", the Einfelder See..... but today I hiked around it in the evening hours.
The weather was already cloudy when I started, but the atmosphere on & around the lake was very appealing..... especially the transition from dusk to the "blue hour".....
Many walkers no longer came towards me at this time.... I enjoyed the "togetherness" with …

Just picked up the new derailleur hanger for the gravel bike from Bordesholm. You can also walk around the Einfelder Lake in the dark ;) Nice tour, but chubby. 2 hours freezing on the bike (wrong clothes and a lot of headwind). Took a lot of shortcuts on the way back and later only rode on the road.

I actually wanted to keep this tour to myself. There are several reasons for this. But now I think you have to endure it.
How it came about was - in short - as follows:

We were on the way back from Sylt, I was on my cell phone looking for winter tires for my husband's car. Searched, found. We …
