Our museum day: the Basilica and Museum of San Marco, the Museum of Natural History, and modern art at Ca' Pesaro.
And we enjoy being out and about in Venice – on the water with the vaporetti, walking along the canals, and exploring the picturesque little alleys.

Despite the €5 entrance fee, there were thousands of tourists exploring Venice alongside us. In the morning, in the mist that cleared briefly around midday, there were some beautiful moments. But in the evening you are more tired than after a day of cycling.

Line 1 runs from the Lido directly through the Grand Canal - stopping almost every few meters.
If you have a vaporetto with seats outside in the bow, you have the jackpot for taking photos or just a great view of all the beautiful palazzi.
