Redeeming a birthday gift (Barbara), a joint mountain tour with dear friends.
The choice fell on the Goisererhütte, ascent from Gosau. The day was perfect for this hike: not too hot, clouds in the sky.
The ascent to the hut through beautiful scenery was completed in just over 2 hours, there was still energy

A simple and easy ride from the Traun Valley to the Almtal. A few climbs, a few stretches on the main road. The latter could also be avoided by taking alternative routes with more elevation gain.

An easy-to-ride gravel track that leads to a second gravel track via a short, steep section where you’ll need to push your bike. Wide tyres and powerful brakes are highly recommended for this descent. The rest is (almost) pure enjoyment.

Thanks to @Astrid Dickinger! The idea for this tour comes from their tour "Bergalhupfen". We take the steep ascent to the Grasberg and cross it, enjoying the panoramic view. Once again we are doing this little hike, which leads us to the beautiful viewpoint at the foot of the Traunstein. Although we often walk in the shade of the forest, it feels like being in the tropics. We gladly leave our bikes at the Gasthof Hoisn, to which we have cycled from Altmünster.
