A weekend trip to Upper Lusatia, why not, I thought to myself. 😃
On my way there I drove straight through to Görlitz, the easternmost city in Germany. The Lusatian Neisse also flows here, as a border river to our neighboring country Poland.

The route was not very demanding, there were no mountains. The surface takes some getting used to for the hiker, because the asphalt is more intended for bicycles ... we felt that afterwards. This was my first trip around the lake as part of the Iron Lake Challenge. I really liked Lake Berzdorf. There are lovely, quiet spots for swimming, but also a very busy sandy beach. There are also plenty of places to eat and drink around the lake. Our tour was fun 😃!
