Today I was out and about again as part of the Iron Lake Challenge Berlin and circled Lake Tegel clockwise. The start and finish were at S Tegel (S25).

Beautiful and varied circular hike around Lake Tegel in glorious sunshine - highly recommended! Small crossing with the ferry and holiday feeling on the beach and in Alt-Tegel included. :-)
For me it was actually the first time that I completely circled the lake - why actually...?

Thanks to the Burchardi ferry, Lake Tegel can also be circumnavigated in winter. At least the 18 km long one.
The various pedestrian bridges over all kinds of canals are also in good condition.
