Lake Tegel is in the north of Berlin. With an area of 4.6 square kilometers, it is the second largest lake in Berlin - and one of the most beautiful. Numerous excursion boats go here and you can watch the sailing boats passing by on the bench seats.
Or you can simply grab a boat yourself at the boat rental and explore the huge bay on your own.

The Tegeler Fließ is probably unique in Europe. The nature trails in the forest and on the jetty in Hermsdorf are well equipped with information boards. Thanks to the forestry office Tegel! The "Berliner Wald Zeitung" as a download on the Internet (stadtentwicklung.berlin.de/forsten/aktuelles) or as a display in the Forestry Office is for me a "must read" for mind and soul. And now the water buffalo enclosure for landscape conservation. It is beautiful here....!!!
