One of the five mills that once drained the Uitgeester and Heemskerkerbroekpolder. The mill is inhabited and in beautiful condition.

The church houses thirteen stained glass windows with scenes from the New Testament. The building has been registered as a national monument since 1968. Definitely worth a visit during your bike ride.

This existing meadow bird area of Staatsbosbeheer and the Agrarische Stichting Blaricum is being redesigned to increase the quality of the nature reserve. Many meadow birds breed in nature reserve De Kampen, but far too few young birds survive to maintain the population. By better designing the area and wetting it in the spring, meadow birds can find sufficient food, breed and grow up.
