The Krommenie church was built in 1755 on the remains of other churches that stood here in the past. We don't know for sure, but there are probably three. A nice detail: if you look closely you can see that the roof has the shape of an inverted ship. It could be that this is a reference to the shipbuilding that used to take place in this region.

The church houses thirteen stained glass windows with scenes from the New Testament. The building has been registered as a national monument since 1968. Definitely worth a visit during your bike ride.
