The beautiful Nescio Bridge, named after the Dutch writer Nescio, is a curved suspension bridge and one of the longest bicycle and pedestrian bridges in the Netherlands. You simply must see and cross it at least once... it remains a special experience, every time!

This farm fell under the circle law of 1814. The buildings in a circle around forts (in this case fort Diemerdam) had to be demolished quickly to keep the field of fire clear. This farm was therefore built entirely of wood.

At the Diemer Vijfhoek you walk over the Diemerzeedijk, where you have a beautiful wide view over the glittering IJmeer. On clear days the water seems endless and in the distance you can see the contours of IJburg and the coastline.
