A lovely hike, mindfulness trail, small Kyle, bridge, and then on to Heidsmühle for a wheat beer. Wonderful in summer, also a great way to cool off!

After the old imperial post office was decommissioned, it remained vacant for years. In the meantime, comfortable apartments were built there.

Imperial Post Office from 1908. A corner building with frontage facing the Moselle and Poststrasse. The best view is from the bridge.

Coming from Bernkadtel-Kues, the path climbs steeply, mostly on cobblestones. But the view is amazing!

Most Beautiful Vineyard View in the Bernkastel-Wittlich District Of the five proposals in the Mosel wine-growing region, the application from Lieser (Bernkastel-Wittlich District) received the most votes, making it the "Most Beautiful Vineyard View 2020" on the Mosel. The location at the Hambuchhütte near Lieser will be marked with a stele provided by the German Wine and Wine Association (DWI). "The 'Most Beautiful Vineyard View' award is given to vantage points that offer impressive views of Germany's wine-growing landscapes and are also easily accessible by hikers or bikers."
