The wooden bridge over the Lieser River at this point has a few steps on the side (street) opposite the villa. There's no ramp (side ramp). Getting up there with a heavy e-bike is almost impossible without extra effort (removing batteries, taking off luggage, etc.). Even then, you'd probably have to use the e-bike push assist, and we haven't tried how well that works. Conclusion: Don't plan an e-bike route towards the villa that includes this bridge. PS: The opposite direction, from the villa across the Lisa River to the street, could work, but that would also be a "heavy" undertaking in my opinion. PPS: Simply carry bio-bikes up on your shoulder 😊

The historic market square in Wittlich is a small gem of art history. Opposite the Old Town Hall stands today's Hotel Well. The magnificent Renaissance building was formerly known as "Zum Wolf." Next to it is a simple 18th-century Baroque building, the former Neuerburg House. The Baroque building on the long side was built as a post office in 1753 by the Fier family.
